Preserve the Music.
Fund the Legacy.

Rock is dead they say...

Preserve Rock is a new nonprofit committed to funding the filming of legendary music performances for PBS and beyond.

We believe that great music deserves to be remembered - not just by those who were in the room, but by future generations.

Our Mission

Preserve Rock exists to ensure that today’s most powerful musical performances are professionally captured, produced, and shared with the world.
Through donor contributions and corporate sponsorships, we will fund new concert productions in partnership with LCM247 for public television and digital platforms.

Because when cameras roll, history is preserved.

Why Your Support Matters

Concerts are fleeting.
But with your help, they can live forever.

With your tax-deductible gift or sponsorship, you’ll help fund:

  • Concert recordings for broadcast on PBS
  • Behind-the-scenes artist storytelling
  • Access to rising stars and underrepresented voices
  • Music preservation for future generations

Sponsor the Stage. Preserve the Legacy.

NASHVILLE | NEBRASKA

On September 19, 2023, during AMERICANAFEST in Nashville, a once-in-a-lifetime tribute came to life.
Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, Noah Kahan, The Lumineers, and Lucinda Williams took the stage to honor Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska—performing unforgettable renditions from Nebraska, The River, and Born in the U.S.A.

The entire performance was expertly filmed and recorded by our partners at LCM247, the production team behind some of PBS’s most acclaimed concert specials.

Preserve Rock is proud to help protect and share moments like this—where iconic voices come together to honor the legends who shaped American music.

THE ART OF MUSIC

Sheryl Crow lit up the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art for PBS’s new series The Art of Music.
Joined by Jason Isbell, she delivered powerful performances of fan favorites like “Every Day is a Winding Road,” “My Favorite Mistake,” and “If It Makes You Happy,” all while sharing reflections on her legendary career and creative process.

She even played a mix of the Met’s rare historic and modern instruments—making the performance as unique as the venue itself.

The entire event was captured by LCM247, the production team behind Preserve Rock’s film projects.

What’s Been Filmed—And Why It Matters

LCM247 has directed and produced performance-driven series for public television, featuring legendary artists such as:

Carlos Santana • Sheryl Crow • Michael McDonald • Billy Strings • Debbie Gibson • Peter Frampton • Lady A • Glen Campbell • Sting & Shaggy • John Mellencamp (with Bob Costas)
…and dozens more.

These shows—including Front and Center, Speakeasy, Soundcheck, and Recorded Live at the Analog—have reached millions of viewers on PBS stations across the country.

These performances were not funded by Preserve Rock—but they represent the kind of legacy storytelling we are now here to support.
